Left - Deputy Tom Polley was one of the deputies involved in a roundup of suspects early Saturday in Lewis County. Polley escorts one of the suspects to the Lewis County Detention Center. Nearly 50 charges were filed against the 32 individuals. The roundup capped off a four-month-long covert investigation targeting drug trafficking in Lewis County.

Below - Members of the Lewis County Red Cross Chapter display a plaque and certificate awarded after the local chapter raised more than $2,900 during a recent fundraiser. Pictured, left to right, are Lloyd Spear, Tom Bertram, Debbie Lewis, Anita Bertram, Glenda Himes and Lyn Oldaker. The local chapter raised more money than any other area chapter.

Below left - Workers apply a coat of sealer to the parking lot near the Vanceburg Depot Museum last week. The lot was sealed and striped just in time for July 4 activities planned for Vanceburg this weekend.
