Christopher Ray Carpenter, 42, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Kenton Pointe Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville with his family by his side.
Christopher was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, October 2, 1974 to Jimmy and Becky Patton Carpenter of Vanceburg. Chris attended I’ll Talk for Jesus Pentecostal Church.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a sister, Tawnya Carpenter of Vanceburg; a brother, Jamie Carpenter of Vanceburg; two nephews, Jamie Lee and Ryan Carpenter, both of Vanceburg; two nieces, Terra Carver and Kayla Jones, both of Vanceburg; two great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tony Corns officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. Monday and from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg.
