Shirley Erwin

Shirley Ann Stone Erwin, 70, of St. Paul, passed away Friday, October 9, 2020, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born April 2, 1950, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Junior Francis and Pauline Marie Armstrong Stone.

Shirley was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Bridgeport Nursing Home. She enjoyed going shopping, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gary Ray Erwin; one son, Kevin Erwin (Ann) of Quincy; one daughter, Marcia Thomas (Steven) of Vanceburg; five grandchildren, Sarah Montgomery, Brady Thomas, Adam Montgomery, Bailey Thomas, and Briley Thomas; one great-grandchild, Lincoln Miller; and two sisters, Irene Christy of Garrison, and Judy Swim of Vanceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Stone, and two sisters, Debbie Toller and Carol McClurg.

Services will be at Noon Monday, October 12, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison with Bro. Brad Stone and Bro. John Byard officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until Noon Monday, October 12, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.

Pallbearers will be Brady Thomas, Bret Evans, Bailey Thomas, Chad Evans, Brian Stone, Adam Montgomery, Greg Erwin and Randy Stone.
