Leisha Cox, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at her home on Oak Ridge in Lewis County on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
Born in Maysville on February 22, 1963, Leisha was the daughter of Lula Gilbert Cox and the late Herbert Cox.
After spending more than 40 years in the grocery business, Leisha enjoyed cooking, yard sales, flea markets, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her mother Lula, Leisha is survived by her best friend, Penny Stamm; her sister, Daryla (husband Jimmy) Davis; her nephew, Chase Whisman; her great-nephew, Daniel Whisman; her great-niece, Raelynn Whisman; along with numerous extended family and friends who will mourn her passing and will deeply miss her.
Following Leisha’s wishes, there will be no services.
