Olive Annetta Lamar Tumlin, 72, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday morning, December 19, 2018, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.

She was born August 20, 1946, in Fleming County, a daughter of the late Omar William and Josphine Ham Lamar.

Olive was of the Christian faith and worked for Bluegrass Sewing Factory for 25 years. She enjoyed race cars, sewing, watching T.V. and spending time with her family and friends.

Olive is survived by her husband of 34 years,  Douglas Tumlin; two daughters, Brenda Tumlin (Frank) of Tollesboro, and Christine Gibson (Ethan) of Vanceburg; one sister, Eula Finch of Ewing; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dudley Doyle, Tommy Lamar and Charles Lamar; three sisters, Mary Brown, Elizabeth Brown and Dorothy Prater.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Tollesboro Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Tollesboro, with Brother Phil Cropper and Brother David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery at Foxport.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Tollesboro Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57, Tollesboro, Kentucky 41189.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
