Rosemary Cook Crawford, 84, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday evening, February 27, 2019, at Vanceburg Rehabilitation and Care.
She was born November 21, 1934, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Francis Orville and Anna Hamilton Cook.
Rosemary was a member of Vanceburg First Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church, reading her bible, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family and her cat, Oreo.
Survivors include one son, Michael David Crawford of Vanceburg; one brother, John “Bud” Cook of Vanceburg; two sisters, Jane Evans and Sharon Kegley, both of Vanceburg; two grandchildren; and seven-great grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Franklin Crawford; and one brother, Bradley Cook.
Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2019, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Michael Ulrich officiating. Burial will follow in Esham Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019, and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
