National Weather Service officials are investigating a possible weak tornado in the May Hollow area following several sightings of funnel clouds in the Tollesboro area Friday evening.
An official with the National Weather Service in Wilmington said that due to the lack of additional damage, the are waiting until today before they confirm the damage as a tornado.
