Amos Nolen

Amos Harold Nolen, 70, of Laurel Road, Vanceburg, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 30, 1952, a son of the late Amos and Lily Smith Nolen.

Amos was a member of Nolen Pentecostal Church. He enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Amos is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Tammy Ann Click Nolen; two sons, Lorne Amos (Melissa) Nolen of Olive Hill and Adam Shane (Laura) Nolen of Vanceburg; two daughters, Peggy Lane (Joe) Rister of Quincy and Misty Nicole (Mike) Cooley of Vanceburg; three sisters, Louella Bloomfield of Urbana, Ohio, Margie Friddle of Columbus, Ohio, and Martha Stevenson of Lucasville, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, Grace, Aubry, Emmitt, Charli, Farrah, Willow, Thatcher, Boone, Veda, Christian, Haley, Tidus, Autumn, Jaxon, and Dillon; and two great-grandchildren, Ava and Mayleigh. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 sisters, Audrey Ails, Ruby Campbell, Mildred Bishop, Gladys Dyer, Irene Hamlin, Dorothy Burton, Jesse Brown, Faye Sartin, Helen Nolen, Ines Nolen, and Oilee Nolen.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix, with Bro. Gregory Owens, Bro. Jacob Sartin, and Bro. Daniel Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Nolen Cemetery on Laurel Road.

Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Camp Dix.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
