Paul Huffman

Paul David Huffman, 45, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at his home.
Paul was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, August 24, 1970, to John and Denise Cox Huffman. He was a 1988 college graduate of Shawnee State University and was doing his Professorship in Sociology at Morehead State University. Paul was one of the first members of the TKE Fraternity at Shawnee State University. He devoted his life to raising his children. He was a beloved son, uncle, nephew, and cherished friend, and known for his heart of gold.
Surviving him beside his parents are one daughter, Ashley Diane Huffman of Marion, Ohio; one son, Jonathan Paul Huffman of Russell;
the Love of his life Emma Jane Knox of England; one sister, Alice Dawn Leffingwell of Garrison; loving aunts and uncles, Opal Cox Collier and Husband Leroy, Sue Ann (Dale) Dummitt, Patty Huffman, Wanda Huffman, Charlene Huffman, Mike Huffman, and Doug Huffman; cousins, Tera Dummitt Johnson, H. Scott Dummitt, Elizabeth Madden, H. Stephen Ervin, and Ray A. Ervin; and many more family and friends who will mourn his passing.
Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Herbert Dean Cox; and beloved grandmother, Katherine Skidmore Cox.
Services were held  Tuesday January 5, 2016, at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Tim Underwood officiating. Burial was in Skidmore Cemetery.
