Linda K. Robinson, 69, of Vanceburg, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, July 21, 2016, following a brief illness, with her family by her side.
Linda was born in Lewis County on October 6, 1946, to the late Harry A. and Flora Lovell Hyrne Clark. She was a homemaker and a caregiver for the elderly. She was of the Christian faith and was a loving mother and grandmother. Linda was defined by her sense of humor. Always.
Survivors include two sons, Damon (Bev) Robinson of Grayson and Paul Phillip (Jama) Robinson of Union; a daughter, Dr. Debbie Robinson and husband Pete Summersville of Orlando, Florida; seven grandchildren, Madelyn, Lakole, Gwyni, Slate, Alden, Levi, and Ava; a sister, Joyce Mackey of Vanceburg; a brother, Kenneth Clark of Florida; and her life partner, Jan “Bare” Kinsel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Arnold C. Robinson, on May 12, 1989; two sisters, Janet Mackey and Joann Clark; and six brothers, Donald Clark, Bobby Lee Clark, Harry Clark Jr., Randall Rowland Clark, Rodney Clark, and Brian Clark.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016, at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Rev. Linda Sartin officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg.
Donations are suggested to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
