Charles Eugene “Stub” Highfield, 84, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023 at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.
He was born in Lewis County on February 21, 1939, a son of the late Elmer and Virginia Hughes Highfield.
Stub was a lifelong farmer and dog trader. He enjoyed looking for ginseng, dog trading, deer hunting, and talking to his friends and neighbors.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, in East Fork Cemetery with Bro. Sam Jones officiating.
