Linda McCormick Blazer, 68, of Vanceburg, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Boyd County Nursing and Rehabilitation in Ashland.
She was born at Ross County, Ohio, December 12, 1954, a daughter of the late John and Maxine McGlone McCormick.
Linda was of the Christian Faith. She enjoyed cooking for her family, working in her flowers, spending time with her family, and especially spending time with her dog, Stripes.
Survivors include three sons, John Blazer of Beaver, West Virginia, Joseph Blazer Jr. of Carter City, and Luke Blazer of Vanceburg; one daughter, Angel Stillwell of Vanceburg; three sisters, Brenda Conn and Zona McCormick of Sunberry, Ohio, and Susie McCormick of Grayson; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband of 55 years, Joseph Blazer, and one daughter, Laura Carver.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Globe Funeral Chapel at Olive Hill with Bro. Bill Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Blazer Family Cemetery in Lewis County.
