Bennie Meadows, 91, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Hospice of Hope in Maysville.
He was born at Garrison on May 16, 1932, a son of the late Andrew and Nancy Dummitt Meadows.
He was a United States Army veteran and was retired from Portsmouth Ready Mix.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Vickie (Michael) Lykins of Vanceburg and Debbie (Jack) Henderson of Las Vegas, Nevada; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Meadows; two sons, Bennie Meadows Jr. and Ricky Meadows; four sisters; and two brothers.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Roberson Funeral Home at South Shore. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens at South Portsmouth.Â
Visitation for family and friends will be after Noon Thursday at Roberson Funeral Home.
