Robert Michael Cooley, 51, of West Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born April 29, 1972, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Michael Ray Cooley and Barbara Sue Scaff Ratliff.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Christina Chase Cooley; two daughters, Kayla (David) Perry of West Liberty and Brittany Bentley of Greenup County; two sons, Alex Beamon and Joseph (Kristy) Bentley of Sciotoville, Ohio; three brothers, Kelly (Sydonna) Cooley and James (Becky) Ratliff of South Portsmouth, and Sam (Tonya) Ratliff of Licolnton, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and a brother-in-law, Rick Potts. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Potts; his stepmom, Sherry Wiley Cooley; and his stepdad, Sam Ratliff.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Raymond Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery.
