Danny C. Lewis, 57, of Vanceburg, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
Danny was born at Maysville on February 8, 1967, a son of the late Boyd Clinton Lewis and Barbara Morgan McGowan. He was a heavy equipment operator for several years. He loved to go fishing and cook.
Left to cherish his memories are two daughters, Ashley (Andrew) Hilterbrand of Flemingsburg and Kara (Sean) Sapp of Lexington; two sisters, Stacey Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, and Tracy (John) Davis of Vanceburg; three brothers, Bryan (Shirley) Lewis, Arty McGowan, and Lee McGowan of Vanceburg; his step-parents, Danny and Linda McGowan of Vanceburg; and three grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Boyd Lewis and Johnathon Davis.
There will be no visitation or service at this time.
