Paul Leon Stone, 69, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Lewis County on July 14, 1955, a son of the late Homer and Lula Bell Smith Stone.
Paul enjoyed going to church, fishing, trading, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Brenda Nolen Stone; three daughters, Kim (Elmer) Fite of Tollesboro, and Katrina (Chad) Fegan and Mary Walers of Vanceburg; one sister, Maggie (Mike) Osborne of Olive Hill; one brother, Jimmy (Betty) Stone of Garrison; 19 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sons, Matthew Stone, Steve Adams, and James Adams, and one brother, Danny Stone.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Tommy Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery at Head of Grassy.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
