Brian David Howe, 60, of Vanceburg, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Mason County December 11, 1964, a son of the late Robert Wayne Howe Sr. and Bessie DeAtley Howe.
Brian was a Christian and was employed by Southern States of Maysville for 23 years. He enjoyed watching TV, riding the lawnmower with his dog, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two daughters, Shawna Farley of Camp Dix and Mary Ann Griffitt of Vanceburg; a son, Justin Howe of Germantown; one sister, Marilyn (Doug) Stanley of Covington; one brother, Wayne (Christie) Howe of Vanceburg; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 27 years, Cathy Zornes Howe; one son, Bradley Griffith; and a grandson, Gauge Carpenter.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Jamie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, and after 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Howe, Brandon Moran, Matthew Farley, Cody Farley, John Farley, and Nathan Lucas.
