Debra Lynn Cummings, 63, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Flemingsburg on Saturday April 19, 2025.
Born July 13, 1961, in Orange, California, Debra was a daughter of the late Earl Cummings and Juanita Cooper Skidmore.
Debra kept busy quilting, coloring, and making jewelry. However, her favorite pastime was enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Millie, and watching football – Go Chiefs!
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Johnny Kegley II (Heather Montieth) of Vanceburg, Samantha (Brandon) Fizer of Flemingsburg, and Brandi Burriss of Vallejo, California; four siblings, Dennis Peet, Barbara (BJ) North, Ronnie Skidmore, and Shannon Sherer; eight grandchildren, Nadilee, Ricky, and Blake Buckler, Ryker Telecky, Jaycee and Emily Jergens, and Grace Hubbard and Stanley Burriss; and one great-granddaughter, three-month-old Willow Flores. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dudley, and a brother, Rick Cummings.
At the request of her children, a private visitation was held Monday April 21, 2025, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill.Â
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
