Jack McCall

Jack Lee McCall, 85, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.

Jack was born in Brookville, Ohio, on August 20, 1939, a son of the late Valrie and Mildred Lee Shelton McCall. He was a veteran, having proudly served in the US Army. Jack worked for Norfolk & Southern Railroad until his retirement. He had also worked various jobs in Ohio and for McCall’s magazine in Dayton, Ohio. He was a member of East Fork Christian Church.

Left to cherish Jack’s memories are a son, Terry (Kimi) McCall of New Lebanon, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lizzy and Miles McCall; and six great-grandchildren. Many of other family members and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel McCall, in 2014, and two brothers, Corbin McCall and David McCall.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, in East Fork Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Hampton officiating. Military graveside rites will be accorded by Monte Lewis Stamm VFW Post 5438.
