Betty Ann Jordan, 64, of Garrison, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at her home. Her family was at her side.
She was born at Portsmouth, Ohio, on May 23, 1961, a daughter of the late John and Martha Cushard McGee. Betty was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She had a caring heart, was always ready to help those she loved, and was known for being outgoing and speaking her mind.
Survivors include her loving companion of 38 years, Eddie Cooper; two sons, Eddie Cooper Jr. (Kayla Perry) of Garrison, and Lonnie (Audra) Kennedy of Tollesboro. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and friends who will mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Ray Howard and Arnold Howard.
Services will be at Noon Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Morgan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper-Willis Cemetery at Garrison.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Gaydos Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Cooper Jr., Nicholas Cooper, Ben Cooper, Waylon Cooper, Michael Highfield, Austin Gilliam, Josh McCray, and Shane McCray.
