Kenneth Eugene Werline, 71, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Hospice of Hope at Kenton Pointe in Maysville. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 14, 1953, in Mason County, a son of the late Kenneth and Imogene King Werline.
He enjoyed visiting his nieces to drink coffee, babysitting dogs, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his loving wife of 19 years, Carol Hord Werline; two daughters, Rachel Ginn of Greenup and Susan Lanthorn of Vanceburg; two sons, Jacob Werline of Maysville and Chad Hord of Vass, North Carolina; three sisters, Karen Morgan of Aberdeen, Ohio, Vicki Rydell of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Tammy Claxton of Aberdeen, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Many other family members and friends also mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Osborne and a brother, Tony Werline.
Services will be at Noon Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 Ky 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. David Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Osborne, Chad Hord, Ashley Hornback, Brian Simmons, Nathaniel Gill, and Thomas Clark.
