Elizabeth Ann Dummitt Howell, 65, of Garrison, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 10, 1960, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Emeric Monroe and Amelia Louise Bear Dummitt.
Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, riding her scooter with her children, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Bivens and Libby Ann Bivens Witten of Garrison; three sisters, Sue Horsley and Vickie (Kenny) Christy of Vanceburg, and Glenna (Michael) Lehn of Quincy; three brothers, Clayton (Pansy) Dummitt, Phillip (Linda) Dummitt, and Rocky (Sue) Dummitt of Garrison; five grandchildren, Tony Dale Zornes, Lathan Bivens, Izak Witten, Oddessa Bivens, and Zara Abbie Bivens; and two great-grandchildren, Liam Kennedy, and Nevaeh Grace Bivens. Many nieces and nephews will also mourn her passing.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Bear Cemetery on Tick Ridge with Bro. Jerry Noel officiating.
Pallbearers will be Tony Dale Zornes, Izak Witten, Lathan Bivens, Adam Dummitt, Michael Pierce, Michael Edington, Zach Lehn, and Teddy Bentley.
