Helen Cary Dakin Borger, 50, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born January 30, 1975, in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Melvin and Irene McLaughlin Dakin.
Cary enjoyed doing diamond artwork, shopping, going to yard sales, traveling, watching the sunset, fishing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Ciara Borger of Tollesboro and Josie Borger of Vanceburg; a son, Todd Borger Jr.; two sisters, Billie Jo (Daniel) Boyer of Vanceburg and Kellita Jo Neal of Williamsburg, Ohio;Â and seven grandchildren, Jaycee, Braxton, Khloe, Bentley, Lukas, Kyson, and Karmyn. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Caleb Scottie Borger; a sister, Lisa Dakin; and a brother, Scottie Dakin.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Travis Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit after 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Todd Borger Jr., Daniel Boyer, Junior Boyer, Anthony Boyer, Todd Borger Sr., Brett Noonan, Daniel Creech, and Coy Hill.
