Rose Conley

Rose Alice Vanhoose Conley, 89, of Maysville, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Lewis County on November 18, 1935, a daughter of the late Pete and Bertha Clark Vanhoose.

Rose was a member of Revive Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed sitting on her porch to watch birds, traveling, shopping, going out to eat, and spending time with family.

Survivors include four sons, Randall (Sharon) Creech of Tollesboro, Steve (Janey) Creech and Kenny Creech of Maysville, and Michael Emory of Peoria, Illinois; two sisters, Wanda Ruben and Ruth Cooper of Garrison; one brother, David Vanhoose of Garrison; three grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren. Many other family members and friends mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, John Conley; one daughter, Rhonda Creech; three brothers, Bud Vanhoose, Leslie Vanhoose, and Johnny Vanhoose; and one great-grandchild, Tony Creech.

Services will be at Noon Friday, November 21, 2025, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Caleb Paul officiating. Burial will follow in Spy Run Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit after 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dickerson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Creech, Jacob Kielman, Timmy Boles, Charles Bennett, Dean Cooper, Steve Creech, Rancy Creech, and Jeff Creech.
