Amy McEldowney, 67, of Georgetown, transitioned from her earthly home on November 25, 2025, surrounded by her family.
She was born in Vanceburg on January 23, 1958, a daughter of the late Samuel and Eleanor Johnson.
She was a member of Grace Christian Church in Georgetown and Highland Christian Church of Maysville.
She was loved and will be missed by her husband, Jeff McEldowney; daughters Leah (Anthony) Adams and Hannah (Dylan) Cornett; grandchildren Harper and Zoe Adams, brothers David (Debbie) Willis, Ben (Diane) Johnson, and Sam (Susie) Johnson of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Eleanor Johnson and sister Meredith Willis.
A gathering will take place at Grace Christian Church, 1648 Lexington Road at Georgetown, on December 6, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
