Pauline Killen

Pauline V. Killen, 95, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, at her home. Her family was at her side.

Pauline was born August 24, 1930, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Tom and Etta McClennahan Kielman. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and gardening. She especially loved to cook. She was a member of Hilltop Tabernacle Church, where she enjoyed attending.   

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (Danny) Blankenship of Vanceburg, and her grandchildren, Sierra Blankenship, Josef Blankenship, Clayton, Elizabeth, and Jacob.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Harold L. Killen, on May 17, 2013; two sisters, Helen Applegate and Mabel Kielman; and four brothers, Ray Kielman, Earl Kielman, Herman Kielman, and Sherman Kielman.

Services will be at Noon Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Rev. Wilma Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Gaydos Funeral Home.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
