Nancy Agnes Gilbert, 81, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
She was born in Lewis County on July 27, 1944, a daughter of the late James Lawrence and Neoma Kennedy Gilbert.
She enjoyed watching TV, working on puzzle books, going to flea markets, and talking with her family.
Survivors include her special caretakers, Jeremy and Jessica Tully, and her many friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James “Jamie” Snapp; three sisters, Geneva Cullio, Hazel Yazell, and Iva Jean Adams; and a brother, Eugene Gilbert.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with Bro. Jerry Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Tollesboro Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tully, Huntly Tully, Harold McCann, and John Grigson.
