Bradley Sparks

Bradley Dean Sparks, 61, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was surrounded by the love of his family.

Bradley was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on February 29, 1964, a son of the late Elmer Jim Sparks and Thelma Ruth Sparks.

He was a proud retiree of Carpenters Local Union 437, where he dedicated many years of hard work and craftsmanship. Bradley enjoyed the simple pleasures of life — boating, camping, hunting, gardening, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially his beloved grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. A man of Christian faith, Bradley was a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include the love of his life and devoted wife of 42 years, Angela Ellen Sparks; his daughter, Pamela (Joshua) Stamm; and his son, Bradley (Lakin) Sparks II. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren, including three granddaughters, Makenna Stamm, Elayna Sparks, and Elodie Stamm; and two grandsons, Brantley Stamm and Marshall Sparks. Bradley is also survived by his siblings, Patty (Johnny) Mefford, Diana Sue Hersh, Jerry (Betty) Sparks, Gary (Denise) Sparks, Mike Sparks, Roger Sparks, Dennis (Linda) Sparks, Greg (Roberta) Sparks, and James (Candy) Sparks. Many nieces and nephews also survive who will lovingly remember him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce (Kenneth) Scott, and a brother, Jeff Sparks.

Bradley will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love of the outdoors, unwavering faith, and deep devotion to his family. His presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love will live on in all who knew him.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Brad Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at Gaydos Funeral Home.
