Earl Monteith, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 23, 2026.
He was born on September 5, 1958, a son of the late Carl and Beulah Scott Monteith.
Earl enjoyed driving back roads and going to the Outlaw Pulling Club. He loved to be outdoors.
Survivors include a daughter, Leslie McCrae; two sons, Todd Monteith and Joseph (Amanda) Monteith; six sisters, Dorothy (Dean) Carver, Kathy Nolen, Mable (Lovell) Nolen, Arta Louise Parker, Peggy (Tracey) Vaughn, and Sharon (Randy) Creech; one brother, Mike (Kathy) Monteith; and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Thurman, Eva King, Brenda Bruce, and Donna Bennett; and two brothers, Carl Monteith and Noble Monteith.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Petersville Church of God.
Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg is entrusted with arrangements.
