Hildreth Blaine Polston, 85, of St. Paul, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the home of her daughter in Campbellsville. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Hildreth was born at St. Paul on November 4, 1940, a daughter of the late Calvin and Guyneth Armstrong Blaine. She was united in marriage to Silas Polston over 66 years ago on July 30, 1959. She is already greatly missed by her husband, children, and grandchildren. Hildreth was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ. She was an incredibly gifted quilter, and many were blessed to receive her handmade quilts over the years. She was passionate about her family history, keeper of the Armstrong and Blaine genealogy, and greatly cherished her memories of growing up among her cousins. She was a very devoted Momma, Mamaw, and Big Mamaw, and her true pride and joy was spending time with children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Hildreth is survived by her loving husband, Silas Polston; a daughter, Patty (Andy) Haley of Campbellsville; a son, Aaron (Chong) Polston of Lloyd; a brother, Gary Blaine of St. Paul; six granddaughters, Meredith (Aaron) Gilpin, Anna (Mike) Brown, Emily Haley, Mallory Haley, JeTaime (Rusty) Schilling, and Tina (James) Lowe; and her great-grandchildren, Landry Brown, Madelyn Brown, Cora Ann Gilpin, Jacob Gibson, Katie Schilling, and Kenny Lowe. She also leaves many cousins and friends to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her baby brother, Marty Blaine.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2026, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison with Kevin Yeager and Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Greene Cemetery at St. Paul.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 5, 2026, and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
