Lynn Flinders, 69, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026, at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family.
He was born January 8, 1957, in Lewis County, a son of the late Allen Kenneth and Catherine Avis Smith Flinders.
Lynn enjoyed providing lawn care, riding his bike, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include four sisters, Mary Jane (Brian) Caseman, Lora Wright, Brenda (Chester) Polley, and Lillie (Dallas) Cooper of Vanceburg; and four brothers, Wayne Flinders, Glenn Flinders, Billy (Jackie) Flinders, and Buck (Bonnie) Flinders of Vanceburg. Many other family members and friends will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Tillie Bare, Linda Polley, Beatrice Polley, and Carolyn Underwood; and two brothers, Jerry Bob Flinders and Terry Flinders.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Adam Dunigan officiating. Burial will follow in Crystal Dawn Cemetery at Quincy.
