Sylvia Ruth Bryant (Vancil) of Lake City, Florida, was born on December 7, 1941, and went to her heavenly home on October 11, 2016, after a brief illness. She was 74.
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother of four and grandmother of four.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Webster McKay and Ruth Vancil; and two brothers, Lowell Vancil Sr. and Edgar Vancil.
She is survived by her husband, Adrian Bryant of Lake City, Florida; four children, Andrea “Missy” Buckner (Wilkie) of Vanceburg, Jo Ragan (Tim) of Lake City, Florida, Eric Bryant of Lake City, Florida, and Leigh Hughes (Brad) of Bonaire, Georgia; four grandchildren, Brandon Buckner of Vanceburg, Dylan Ragan of Lake City, Florida, Chloey Bryant of Lake City, Florida, and Kiersten Hughes of Bonaire, Georgia; and a brother, Karl Vancil of Rockmart, Georgia.
She was very proud to be a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed shopping, watching Food Network, BINGO, and talking about her grandchildren.
Sylvia will be dearly missed by all, but forever in our hearts. She passed peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by loved ones.
In honor of her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
