The driver of a pick-up truck avoided injury Wednesday morning when he swerved to avoid an animal, went off the roadway and hit a tree.
Deputy Gary Sparks said the accident happened shortly after 5:00 a.m. Wednesday as Jeffrey Gilliam, 44, of South Shore, was traveling east on Ky. Rt. 8 at Black Oak in a 2003 Nissan Frontier pick-up.
