Carol Lee Flinders Wills, 73, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday evening, January 2, 2017, at Golden Living Center in Vanceburg.

She was born April 19, 1943, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Jacob and Patricia Pollitt Flinders.

Carol was of the Pentecostal faith and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking, caring for her family, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her husband of 58 years, Delefred “Deb” Wills; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Delefred Wills Jr. and Sandra of Louisville, Stephfon Wills, Billy D. Wills, and Randy C. Wills and Alissa, all of Vanceburg; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two half-sisters, Darlene Jones of Tollesboro, and Marsha Scott of Vanceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Pamela Wills, Stephfon Wills Jr., and Billy D. Wills Jr.; five brothers, Harry Flinders, Charles Flinders, Everett Flinders, Rick Montieth, and Roger Montieth; and five sisters, Imogene Corns, Patricia Flinders, Norma Flinders, Gloria Butler, and Nellie Montieth.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro.Tony Corns officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Black Oak.

Friends may visit from Noon until the service hour on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
