Ada Olive Logan, 89, of Emerson, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her home. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born at Emerson on January 17, 1934, a daughter of the late Elva Erwin and Mary Jane Stephens Logan.
Ada was unmarried and took care of her aging father until his passing. She worked at Cowden Sewing Factory in Olive Hill for 32 years, having retired in 1996. She enjoyed eating out, watching westerns, and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky, along with her many friends and neighbors who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by four sisters, Carma Nolen, Ruby Nolen, Odelan McMahan, and Hazel Nolen; and three brothers, Odest Logan, Oaml Lee Butler, and Ashby Stevens.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 7975 Lower Kinney Road at Camp Dix, with her nephew, Eddie Nolen, and Bro. Wes Diamond officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Carter County.
Friends may visit after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Camp Dix.
