Adrian Lawrence Moore, 66, of Vanceburg, died Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Drake Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born in Lewis County on January 1, 1950, the son of the late Adrian Eugene Moore and the late Frances Swim Polly.
Adrian was formerly employed at US Shoe in Vanceburg for many years. He also was employed at Fairlane Auto Sales in Vanceburg and had attended Cannan Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bloomfield Moore; one daughter, Melissa Richmond (Kermit) of Wallingford; one son, Timothy Moore of Vanceburg; two special grandchildren, Dakota Richmond and Alisha Richmond; four brothers, Arnold More (Judy) of Foxport, Allen Moore (Mary) of May’s Lick, Wilson Moore and Omer Moore both of Vanceburg; three sisters, Shirley Wright (Lawrence) of Wallingford, Barbara Dyer (Jack) and Geneva Brown (Doug) both of Vanceburg; and many special nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita McCane.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro. Burial will be at Moore Family Cemetery on Quick’s Run Road.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
