Allen Ray Goin, 52, of Havelock, North Carolina, formerly of Elyria, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, November 30, 2016, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown.
He was born November 4, 1964, in Elyria, a son of Norman Ray and AnnaLee Grim Goin of Munfordville.
Allen worked as a clerk in the auto parts industry. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Allen also enjoyed NASCAR, golfing, reading and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
Allen is survived by his wife of 28 years, Kelly Jo Lewis Goin; three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law, Keith and Glenna Lewis, and Tim and Sherri Lewis, all of Vanceburg, and Kevin and Paula Lewis of Tollesboro; one niece and her husband, Carrie Goin Langston and David Langston of Bethpage, Tennessee; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Opal Lawson Lewis of Vanceburg. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Eugene Goin.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Roger Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens at Vanceburg.
Friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
