Alma Ruth Moore, 92, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born February 18, 1932, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Ott and Matilda Pruitt Moore.
Alma was a member of Southern Manor Baptist Church and loved attending there. She enjoyed talking on the phone to her friends and family.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Guy Rosenbalm of Nicholasville, and two grandsons, Caleb Hedden, and Conor David Hedden. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six sisters, Blanche Toller, Flora Toller, Edna Fite, Jeanetta McCann, Julie Ream, and Rowena Moore, and two brothers, Lewis Moore and Arnold Moore.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Arthur Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Burtonville Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Conor Hedden, Caleb David Hedden, Trevin Plank, Devin Graves, Derek Moore, and Kevin Dunaway.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
