Amanda Ruth Stacy Howard, 37, of Vanceburg, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at her home.
She was born at Portsmouth, Ohio, on August 12, 1986, a daughter of Larry (Connie) Stacy and Ruth Parker.
An avid reader, Amanda was a 2004 graduate of Lewis County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Morehead State University. She enjoyed visiting museums and thrift stores. Her children and family were her life.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Jonathan Howard; two daughters, Jaci Howard and Rylee Howard; two sisters, Ashley (Chris) Burns and Kristy Parker; a brother, Larry (Lacey) Stacy II; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Logan; and her in-laws, Tom and Verrenia Howard, and Sonya Thompson. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eli Stacy, and her paternal grandparents, Don and Betty Bloomfield.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg, with Pastor Tom Cox Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Black Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Gaydos Funeral Home. Family members will be serve as pallbearers.
