Ann Vincent Brennan Haynes, 87, of Vanceburg, passed away Sunday morning, April 23, 2017, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
She was born August 25, 1929, in Flagstaff, Arizona, a daughter of the late John and Francis Stack Brennan.
Ann worked as legal secretary and was named secretary of the year in 1979. She was TOPS queen in 1975 and belonged to the Rotary Club. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Ann is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Nancy Messenger and David and Barb Messenger, all of Petoskey, Michigan, Tom and Linda Bowen of Missouri, and Kevin and Sue Haynes of Vanceburg; one daughter, Lee (Sam) Grieve of Marble Head, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Janey Stack of Orlando, Flordia; and one sister, Nancy Windows of Mesa, Arizona. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Stack.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be at a later date in Flagstaff, Arizona.
