Anthony Wayne Pollitt, 72, of Maysville, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville.
He was born April 15, 1952, in Mason County, a son of the late Jessie Elwood and Ruby Francis Hollar Pollitt.
Anthony was a devoted member of the Mormon faith. He enjoyed old cars, coon hunting, spending time with his family, and his little dog, Benson.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Sue and Clifford McGinnis of Vanceburg; a son, Anthony Scott Pollitt of Maysville; one sister, Drema Ann Pollitt of Tollesboro; and six grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Vicki Barlett Pollitt; two sisters, Regina Dawn Sullivan and Eva Lynn White; and three grandchildren, William Robert McGinnis, Charlie McClanahan, and Halley McClanahan.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Tollesboro Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 11918 KY 57 at Tollesboro, with the Mormon Church officiating. Burial will follow in Esham Cemetery in Lewis County.
