Azro Browning Jr., 68, of Maysville, died Monday, May 2, 2016, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mr. Browning was retired from Emerson Power Transmission, was a veteran of the US Army and attended the Orangeburg United Methodist Church.
He was born in Mason County on May 10, 1947, a son of the late Azro and Edith Lancaster Browning.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Cooley Browning; two daughters, Tisha Billings (Danny) and Teresa Stamm (Michael), both of Maysville; six grandchildren, Trey Gallenstein (Brittany), Darby Gallenstein, Gregory Gallenstein (Katy), Bryson Billings, Tanner Billings and Brayden Stamm; one great-grandchild, Arthur Gallenstein; one brother, William Browning; and five sisters, Alma Browning, Linda Dorsey (Bill), Clara Sulcer (Mark), Eveleen Browning and Carolyn Howard (John).
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Billy Mason Jr.; and a daughter, Lisa Mason Gallenstein.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Barbour and Son Funeral Home in Tollesboro with Rev. Mason Harrod officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Garden of Memories. Pallbearers will be Trey Gallenstein, Darby Gallenstein, Bryson Billings, Tanner Billings, Brayden Stamm, Greg Gallenstein, Larry Buchanan, and Kenny Souder.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
