Adren E. “Babe” Pollitt, 70, of Vanceburg, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
Babe was born August 31, 1952, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a son of the late Bill and Grace Kennedy Pollitt. He worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers for 33 years and for the Lewis County School System as a custodian for 12 years. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School, Class of 1971.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline Hake Pollitt, whom he married at Vanceburg in 1994. Several other family members and friends also survive who will mourn his passing.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Gaydos Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Sister Wilma Erwin officiating.
Visitation from Noon until the service hour Sunday at Gaydos Funeral Home, 159 Second Street in Vanceburg.
