Barbara Carol Bivens, 85, of Nevada, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025, at Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born April 1, 1939, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late Tom and Nancy Pauline Pitts Bivens.
Barbara was a member of Golden Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed off-roading, camping, trail walking, watching quail and other wildlife, and spending time with her family. She loved her precious cat, Spanky, and dog, Studly.
Survivors include one daughter, Denise Lee of Bucyrus, Ohio; a son, Jeff (Debbie) Hamilton of Nevada Ohio; two sisters, Rita Scribben of Astabula, Ohio, and Joyce Henderson of Arlington, Illinois; one brother, Tommy (Jeanie) Bivens of Garrison; four grandchildren, Michael Rittenhour, Bobbie Holloway, Emma Evans, and Kristina Radabaugh; and six great-grandchildren. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss her.
Services were at Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg with Bro. Blake Bivens officiating. Burial was in Bivens Cemetery.
