Bertie Ann Bevins Moore, 78, of Garrison, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Vanceburg Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Lewis County on March 24, 1945, a daughter of the late Raymond and Lucy May Bevins.
Bertie was a member of Southern Manor Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, James “Richard” Moore; three sons, Nelson Moore and Tony (Sonya) Moore of Garrison, and Raymond (Tracy) Moore of Aberdeen, Ohio; one daughter, Tammy (Vincen) Pierce of Garrison; one sister, Annabelle (Allen) Bush of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Hampton, and two brothers, Clyde Bevins and Fred Bevins.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street in Vanceburg, with Bro. Arthur Moore and Bro. Al Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Clarksburg Cemetery.
Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 4, 2023, at Dickerson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Vincen Pierce, Matt Hampton, Brandon Pierce, Jake Moore, Dylan Moore, and Austin Moore.
