Besselene Nunley Blaine, 103, of St. Paul, left her earthly home and crossed peacefully over to Heaven on January 11, 2024, at her residence.
She was born at Firebrick on October 6, 1920, a daughter of the late Edward and Elmira Bentley Nunley.
She was of the Baptist Faith, member of Eastern Star, and a Kentucky Colonel. Besselene was proud to be a homemaker and was a devoted mother. She loved her family, her home, and taking care of her flowers.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Ginger Kamer of Firebrick; one granddaughter, Kathy (Alan) Bays of Bowling Green, two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levi George Blaine; one son, Bobby Blaine; one brother, William Nunley; and one infant sister, Marry Lou Nunley.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore with Raymond Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Greene Cemetery at St. Paul.
Visitation for family and friends will be after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
