Billy Jack Covert, 41, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, in St. Clairsville, Ohio.
He was born at Oregon, Ohio, April 17, 1981, a son of Jack and Lucy Blankenship Covert.
Billy was a boat pilot and captain. He enjoyed riding his bike, working out, going out to eat, and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his fiancée, Gina Mori of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one son, Xander Covert of Otway, Ohio; one daughter, Katlynn Covert of Olive Hill; one sister, Misty Covert Thayer of Vanceburg; and several nieces and nephews. Many other family members and friends also survive who will sadly miss him.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison, with Bro. Tommy Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Skidmore Cemetery at Garrison.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel at Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Xander Covert, Ray May, JR Bloomfield, Teddy Thayer, Juan E. Fuentes, and Shane Mori.
