Members of the Lewis County Board of Education have asked Superintendent Belinda Forman to conduct a feasibility study on combining the Foster Meade Career and Technical Center with Lewis County High School.
Board members briefly discussed the possibility of combining the administration of the schools as a cost-cutting measure during a working session in March.
Board Chair Bryan McRoberts brought up the subject during Monday’s regular meeting.
“I’d like for you to look into the feasibility, the pros and cons, of combining the vocational school into the high school,” McRoberts said to Forman.
Board of Ed will consider merging LCHS and FMCTC
