Bonnie May

Bonnie Dean Clark May, 84, of Garrison, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at SOMC Hospice Care in Portsmouth, Ohio.

She was born September 22, 1935, in Lewis County, a daughter of the late William and Omah Scott Clark.

Bonnie was a Christian and loved going to church. She enjoyed singing, cooking, going out to eat and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Bonnie is survived by two sons, Ray May (Cora) and Billy Joe May Jr., all of Garrison; two daughters, Cheryl Warren (Eddie) and Sherry Hargrove (Adrian), all of Dyersburg, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Ray May (Greta), Jennifer Moore (Kyle), Eddie Warren (Hannah), Tiffany Chance (Keith), and Courtney Winchester; eight great-grandchildren, Maci May, Sadie Moore, Ryder Warren, Baylin Chance, Kloie Doolin, Mason Hatch, Hartley Chance, and Baby JT; and one brother, Arnold Clark of Vanceburg. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Billy Joe May Sr.; two children, William Robert May and Vickie Lynn May; one great-granddaughter, Roselyn Warren; and one brother, Darrold Clark.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison with Bro. Terry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Waring Cemetery at Garrison.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison.

Pallbearers will be Ray May, Ray May Jr., Adrian Hargrove, Kyle Moore, Eddie Warren Jr., and Darrold Clark Jr.
