Brenda Ann Royster Lowder, 70, of Greenup County, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
She was born March 23, 1955, in Greenup County, a daughter of the late Hobert and Edna Davis Royster.
Brenda was a member of Brushart Freewill Baptist Church where she loved to attend services. She enjoyed caring for others, spending time with her grandchildren, and her dog Jack.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Raymond Ken Lowder; one daughter, Amanda Adkins of Greenup County; one son, Kenneth Lowder of Greenup County; two sisters, Virginia Burns and Debra Rhoden of Greenup County; two brothers, Homer Royster and Dale Royster of Greenup County; two grandchildren, Iven Shope and Johnothan Shope; and one great-granddaughter, Rayanne Shope. Many other family members and friends also mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Austin Lowder.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 18, 2025, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue at Garrison. Burial will follow in Grizzell Cemetery.
